Thank you for not smoking.

If you do smoke, please do not do it indoors. We call our balcony the “smoking balcony” because it is perfect for a small puff. You will find an ashtray on the balcony table.

Air conditioning

Air conditioning is available in the apartment. The remote is on the shelf under the mirror. Remember to close the window when using the air conditioning.

And please turn it off when you leave the house.

Kitchen

Amenities

In the kitchen, there is a two-burner induction cooktop, an electric kettle, and a coffee machine with a grinder and frother. In the lower cabinet, you will find a microwave, and below that, pots and a toaster.

In the drawer, there are cutlery and other basic tools needed to prepare a simple meal.

And in the upper cabinet, there are dishes, four of each.

Under the counter is a refrigerator with a small freezer.

For drinking and eating

In the cabinets you will find a small bottle of olive oil, salt, pepper, coffee and tea. And there is water in the refrigerator. Tap water is safe to drink, but not everyone likes it.

Cleaning supplies

On the counter there is a dispenser with dish soap. Under the sink, next to the trash can, there is a cleaning spray.

In the basket under the mirror, there is a first aid kit.

Bathroom

Hot water

Water is heated by a solar panel. In Cretan conditions, hot water is available every day. In case of cloudy weather, we will turn it on remotely.

Toilet paper

In Greece, toilet paper is thrown in the trash can. The pipes are thin, and toilet paper sometimes clogs them. Therefore, please try to remember this. There is a trash can next to the toilet. And if you want to change it, you will find plastic bags in the drawer under the sink.

Towels, soap, hair dryer

You will find towels on the bed. There is a hair dryer in the drawer under the sink. There is also an additional rug for the floor and cloths.

There is liquid soap in the dispensers.

Bedroom

Bed

You have a 150 cm wide bed with four pillows at your disposal.
In the summer months, a sheet is usually enough to cover yourself, but if you need extra warmth, there are blankets in the closet.
The armchair next to it is foldable. You can also sleep on it.

Darkening at night

There are curtains in the windows. They do not provide complete blackout. If you prefer to sleep in complete darkness, lower the external blinds. There is a string next to the window.

Ironing

In the closet, you will find an iron, an ironing board and clothespins. There is a small clothes dryer on the balcony railing.

Entertainment

Television

Opposite the bed, there is a television, which, in addition to Greek television programs, includes applications such as Netflix and YouTube.

Balcony

The Ilios balcony overlooks the street. To give you a sense of privacy, we have planted flowers. On the balcony, there are solar lamps that light up after dark, a small table and two chairs.

Going to the beach?

You will also find beach towels and an umbrella in the apartment.
